Set in the historic mining town of Cripple Creek, the Chamonix Casino & Hotel draws from the area’s architectural legacy while introducing a more contemporary experience.
Morgan worked with BraytonHughes | DLR Group to lead the design of the hotel’s amenities, guestrooms, and suites. The approach was to reflect the material language of the town — brick, stone, and detail — while elevating it through a more refined and cohesive interior architecture.
Public spaces, spa, and conference facilities balance richness with restraint, creating an environment that feels layered and intentional without being overly thematic.
The result is a property that acknowledges its past while offering a distinctly modern experience.
